Bring on the #citychallenge

Excitement 😀

So, while I was exploring all kinds of different blogs I came across this one and it went straight on my personal “keep that blog in mind” list. I don’t have a blogroll yet but once I do, it will probably go on there 😉

It’s managed by 3 girls who live in different cities and they came up with the wonderful idea of the #citychallenge 🙂

How does it work?

Each of the girls thought of two tasks to fulfill, all related to the city where YOU live. For those who lack mathematical skills (me *coughcough*) that makes six tasks in total 😛 They’re all photography tasks so don’t forget your camera or phone if you’d like to join the girls on their challenge. It ends on November 9th, so you have to post your blog entry (including all your fulfilled tasks) and a link to the girls’ specific post on that day. The final step is to leave the exact URL/link of your post in the comment section. They will then publish a post that put all of the participants links together.

1. A photograph of your city from an aerial perspective
2. A local dish
3. Your favorite local park
4. The face of a stone statue of a person, if possible somebody who’s connected to the city somehow
5. The loo – it’s up to you how you want to interpret this “task” 😉
6. Something very non-typical for your city

The girls’ blog is in German but I thought it’d be wonderful to see if they can reach people internationally, whether it be South Africa, Spain, Iceland or New Zealand 🙂
